Landscapes Surreal

There is a saying...”the spirit always stands still long enough for the photographer it has chosen.”  Sometimes the idea for a series of photographic images just happens.  A clear plastic produce bag from the local supermarket is an example of this.  I found that after crumpling it as I prepared to toss it, I noticed a series intersecting patterns were created.

Opening up the bag and a aiming the camera through the opening disclosed a surreal landscape.   Positioning the bag with window light coming through the bottom of the bag a series of different alien type canyons were created.  Each time the bag is moved or I crumpled it up and reopened it, a new series of surreal landscapes are presented.

So, this post is my photographic exploration into a series of surreal type images found by photographing the inside of a clear supermarket produce bag.
