In
art the line is one of the basic tools used by the artist to control the
viewer's eye. It can be used to indicate form as well as movement within the
form.
Architecture
is where the line is most commonly obvious to the eye. It is subtle in the landscape and the
buildings that occupy it. You have to
look to see triangles, squares, and octagons outside and within these
structures.
In
this series of architectural images I have chosen concentrate on the various
shapes and to use them abstractly. You
might say I have filled my camera frame with lines moving in all directions.
