Home Light

I think a good test of your creative ability is how you see the area around you -whether it be the street you live on or even the rooms you live in.  In other words you do not have to necessarily go far to find something to test your photographic abilities.

Recently I picked up my camera and spent a day just walking around my home waking from room to room noticing the light coming through the windows and the effects this light cast on my surroundings.

This became a test of capturing this light as it cast shadows and defined the shapes of objects it fell on.  It became a study of simple shapes that I saw and passed by every day.
