I
try my best to be invisible when I wander around the streets of Exit270. Again I have been fortunate that most of the
subjects before my camera don't mind being photographed. I am not arrogant with those who see my
camera pointed at them -which is hard not to notice since I am at times in
their face.
Usually
I find my subjects are non complacent about being photographed. I never argue with those who don't wish to be
photographed. Never approach your
subject with an attitude –if asked explain what you are doing and then ask them
to ignore you.
I
always I walk around the area making quick observations of the movement of
people within my zone. I set the camera
on aperture priority -center focus -if the subject I am tracking moves into
shadows I punch up my ISO. If you are
working the street -you want to be able to change with the scene, because it
changes fast. Move quickly-take the shot
and move on.
