May 5 -Morning coffee and the early sunlight falling on my coffee cup made me notice the shape, light and shadows the early sunlight created.  I found myself pulling out more cups and saucers from the kitchen cabinet and arranging them in various groupings of shapes and designs.  The subject matter is simple – the window light helps to accent the shapes.  The resulting images are the result of this early morning exploration into cup composition and light– which only proves that I have much too much time on my hands.
